Scan your research folders for new content and generate toolkit improvement proposals.

Usage

/vt-c-research-ingest              # Full scan with detailed proposals
/vt-c-research-ingest --quick      # Quick scan, summary only
/vt-c-research-ingest --since 7d   # Only items from last 7 days

What It Does

  1. Scans Knowledge Folder for new/modified:
  2. Markdown articles about Claude Code, AI, workflows
  3. Agent definitions and templates
  4. Meeting transcripts (PDFs)
  5. Notes and summaries

  6. Scans Repos Folder for:

  7. New repositories
  8. Repos with significant updates
  9. New skills, agents, or commands

  10. Analyzes Content for toolkit relevance:

  11. Patterns we could adopt
  12. Agents/skills we're missing
  13. Workflow improvements
  14. Best practices to document

  15. Generates Proposals in Obsidian:

  16. Creates dated proposals file in Research Proposals/
  17. Updates today's daily note with summary
  18. Prioritizes findings (High/Medium/Low)

Output Locations

  • Proposals: ~/Documents/Obsidian Vault/Research Proposals/YYYY-MM-DD-proposals.md
  • Daily Note: Updates ### Research section in today's note
  • State: ~/.claude/research-ingestion/state.yaml
