Product Design: specs Generation [DEPRECATED]

This skill has been deprecated as of SPEC-073. The specs intermediate step has been eliminated from the workflow.

What Changed

The /vt-c-specs-from-prd mode now generates specs directly from a PRD without the intermediate specs artifact. This simplifies the workflow:

Before: /vt-c-pd-4-validate → /vt-c-pd-5-specs → /vt-c-pd-6-handoff → /vt-c-activate After: /vt-c-pd-4-validate → /vt-c-pd-6-handoff → /vt-c-specs-from-prd

Execution Instructions

When this skill is invoked, display:

This skill has been replaced by /vt-c-specs-from-prd.

The specs intermediate step is no longer needed.
Specs are now generated directly from the PRD during activation.

Use instead:
  /vt-c-specs-from-prd 03-PRD/PRD.md

Then STOP. Do not attempt to generate specs files.

Migration Note

Existing specs files in 05-specs/ directories remain functional — /vt-c-activate can still load them in its default mode. No migration of existing files is needed.
